Creating The Ultimate Capsule Wardrobe

Creating The Ultimate Capsule Wardrobe

After binge watching “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” on Netflix during quarantine, I realized that my closet needed a little TLC. It was time to get rid of the clothes that I didn’t wear, but had decided to keep because I kept telling myself that at some point I was going to wear them. I needed to replace them with a few good staple pieces.

  • What is a capsule wardrobe? A capsule wardrobe is a mini wardrobe that has a set number of clothes that you love and can mix and match. Normally the wardrobe would consist of 20 to 37 pieces that you would be able to mix and match for at least up to 3 months.

  • The benefits of creating a capsule wardrobe is having more energy, time, and money for things in your life other than your clothes. When you narrow down your wardrobe to essential pieces you are able to focus more on other things and less time on trying to find what you’re going to wear that day.

  • Below are 30 of my key essential capsule wardrobe pieces…
