It’s Time for virtual fashion week: GCDS Out of This World SS 2021 Digital Fashion Arcade Show
Take a trip out of this world as the Italian streetwear brand GCDS host the first Virtual Reality fashion show for Milan Fashion Week.
GCDS, founded by brothers Giuliano and Giordano Calza in 2015 in Milan, Italy, just created a unique clothing experience for Milan fashion week. The streetwear brand The brand’s website offers interactive experiences with the show as well such as various rooms and a gaming area that features the Nineties-inspired arcade games with designs from the brand. Rather than having real models walk down the catwalk, the fashion label decided to go with virtual avatars with different skin and tones body types.
The virtual show featured attendees that packed the front row like a teddy bear, Raisa Flowers, Chiara Ferragni, and many others.
